Tenor Jordan Weatherston Pitts has been recognized for his "heroic", "passionate" and "tender" performances both on the operatic stage, as well as in concert. He has received critical acclaim from such publications as the The Boston Globe, Early Music America Magazine, and The New York Times. 

  Jordan has been most recently seen in Puccini's La Fanciulla del West with New York City Opera and in the roles of Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Alfredo in La Traviata, Younger Thompson (Cover) in Tom Cipullo's Glory Denied, Goro in Madama Buterfly, and Malcolm in Verdi's Macbeth. 

In 2018 Jordan will be making two appearances with Opera Saratoga, both as a member of the outreach performances of Opera to Go!'s The Ugly Duckling, and as a Young Artist covering the role of The Magician in Menotti's The Consul.

 On the concert stage, Jordan has most recently performed with The Inernational Performing Arts Institute in Kiefersfelden, Germany, The Garden State OperaThe Boston CamerataHeartbeat Opera, The Newburyport Choral Society, Western New York Chamber Orchestra, and The New York Opera Collaborative. Notable works have been as a Soloist in the Messiah, Haydn's Great Organ MassThe Lord Nelson Mass, and the Mozart Solemn Vespers.

  Mr. Pitts holds a Masters Degree from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Music Performance from SUNY Fredonia. He received further training from the International Performing Arts Institute, in Kiefersfelden, Germany, as a featured young artist, and The Manhattan Opera Studio in New York, NY.
