Tenor Jordan Weatherston Pitts has been recognized for his "heroic", "passionate" and "tender" performances both on the operatic stage, as well as in concert. He has received critical acclaim from such publications as the The Boston Globe, Early Music America Magazine, and The New York Times. 

  Jordan has been most recently seen in the roles of Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Alfredo in La Traviata, Goro in Madama Buterfly, Malcolm in Verdi's Macbeth, and in Puccini's La Fanciulla del West with New York City Opera. 

  Other roles include Oronte (Alcina), William Lyons in the world premier of Darryl Glenn Nettle's The Fall of Stag Lee with The Buffalo Opera Unlimited, Spoletta (Tosca) with LoftOpera, The Narrator (Britten's Owen Wingrave) with the Boston University Opera Institute, Vittellozzo (Lucrezia Borgia) with LoftOpera, King Kaspar (Amahl and the Night Visitors), Gastone (La traviata), Davey Palmer in Jonathan Dove's critically acclaimed one-act opera, Siren Song, Joe in Richard Wargo's Ballymore, Spalanzani in Les Contes d'Hoffmann, and Don Basilio/ Don Curzio (Le Nozze di Figaro).

 On the concert stage, Jordan has most recently performed with The Inernational Performing Arts Institute in Kiefersfelden, Germany, The Garden State Opera, The Boston Camerata, Heartbeat Opera, The Newburyport Choral Society, Western New York Chamber Orchestra, and The New York Opera Collaborative. Notable works have been as a Soloist in the Messiah, Haydn's Great Organ Mass, The Lord Nelson Mass, and the Mozart Solemn Vespers.

  Mr. Pitts holds a Masters Degree from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Music Performance from SUNY Fredonia. He received further training from the International Performing Arts Institute, in Kiefersfelden, Germany, as a featured young artist, and The Manhattan Opera Studio in New York, NY.
