Boston Camerata: Play of Daniel XXI

Amidst graduation from Boston University this weekend, Jordan has accepted an invitation from the early music scene heavy-hitter, The Boston Camerata, to play the leading role of the prophet Daniel in their newest project: The Play of Daniel XXI.

The Play of Daniel XXI will be a mashing of the worlds of Medieval music, and radical social activism, as Daniel is thrown into the lion's den for becoming the voice of a new generation, he will be cast into a sound-world that combines northern French monastic chant and melodrama. Sure to be an exciting project, all aspects of what the show will entail are not set in stone, and continue to be a collaborative effort on behalf of the Boston Camerata.

Graduate MM Recital, Public Library of Brookline

Recital was a great time with food, friends, and family. Works performed were Strauss Op. 10, Fauré's Mélodies de Venise, songs from Peter Warlock, Frank Bridge, and John Ireland, as well as Sesto's aria from Giulio Cesare in Egitto "Svegliatevi nel core". Check out the Photo section. Also, some video recordings will be available in a short while.

April and Summer 2014

Jordan will be appearing as the Tenor Soloist for the Haydn Große Orgelmesse (Great Organ Mass) with the First Parish Church in Wayland, Massachusetts. April 13th at 10 Am. Fellow soloists on the program include Jordan's dear friend, Bass-Baritone Erik Van Heyningen, and fellow BU Grad student, Stephanie Zuluaga, Mezzo Soprano.

Also, in light of the oncoming Summer season, Jordan has been accepted into the International Performing Arts Institute 2014 Young artist training program in Kiefersfelden, Germany with a substantial scholarship.

Graduate Recital, Boston University 18/4/2014

Jordan's Graduate recital in partial completion of the Masters in Music has been scheduled for Friday, April 18th at 3pm at the Brookline Public Library. Dress rehearsal has yet to be scheduled.
Jordan will be performing Strauss' Opus 10, Fauré's cinq Mélodies de Venise, Britten's Songs from the Chinese with guitarist William de la Motte and Händel's Preis der Tonkunst. Christina Wright Ivanova will be collaborating with Jordan for the Recital, and there will be a small gathering of friends and family immediately following the recital (location to be determined).
